The Farm House, You will love it!

The Farm House sleeps up to six. It can be rented by one person, or two or three may want to go together and rent this house for an entire weekend. You will be amazed at the size of the property and the quiet, serene, setting. Fish, swim, relax! Overnight lodging at The Farm House, is a unique East Texas experience. You have to see it for yourself! Guests of The Farm House will have access to two hot tubs, one of which is located at the top of Smithville Tower. Catch and Release fishing is allowed. You must bring your own fishing gear. Swimming is allowed in the lake, but there is no lifeguard on duty. Bring your own beach towels, or you may purchase some in our Gift Shop. Swimming is at your own risk. Water shoes are recommended. We love to interact with our guests, but respect their privacy if they want to keep to themselves. Some of our guests like to tell us all about their lives and their families, and some just need some peace and quiet. They are happy to sit and rock in the rocking chairs, and listen to the calming waterfall. The Farm House is just a few miles from The Shed Cafe, in Edom, TX. They have an awesome breakfast! We are also just a few miles from Chandler, TX. If you like crawfish, check out Wade's Place, and for mexican cuisine, check out San Pedro's. Both are delicious! We are also not far from Tyler, TX, the Rose Capitol of the World! Kids of all ages enjoy The Caldwell Zoo, while they are in Tyler. We have a covered wagon, but some days the mules aren't cooperative. It is best to use your own method of transportation. We have a horseshoe pit that is a very popular attraction. It is well lit at night, as well. Picnic tables are located nearby.
