Grace Cottage is a charming, lovingly restored 17th Century Stone Cottage. Stylish & offering you modern home comforts yet retaining many original features like flagstone floors, wooden beams, stone walls and the fireplace with beautiful wooden lintel above the log burner. Binton is a lovely village, 4 miles from Stratford Upon Avon and 4 miles from historic Alcester. Lots of interesting walks to enjoy and lots of cosy pubs to choose from. The renowned Blue Boar Inn is a 6 minute walk. Our holiday cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, with everything you need for a comfortable self-catering stay. You will find a Smeg fridge with small freezer compartment, Smeg kettle and toaster, microwave, Nespresso coffee maker (please bring your own pods, we used to supply them however some of our guests thought it acceptable to take our whole supply). Integrated induction hob and built in oven with grill and a washer-dryer. The circular dining table and chairs are beside the kitchen and we have installed bi-folding doors that open outwards and lead into the private decked rear garden. There is an island adjoining the cooking area with bar stools creating a social aspect to the cooking experience. The ground floor shower room is to the left of the island as you enter the lounge. You can relax on the super comfy sofas while you watch your favourite programs on the flat screen wall mounted TV to the right of the fireplace. We also have a quality retro Sandstrom bluetooth speaker for your listening and enjoyment. You have exclusive use of the cottage. Located in the quiet, picturesque village of Binton, our holiday cottage is perfect for travellers looking for a relaxed and peaceful stay. Historic Stratford Upon Avon with its river and the RSC is only 4 miles drive away, as is the quaint market town of Alcester. The traditional Blue Boar Inn is a 5 minute walk away & the riverside Four Alls Inn is a 25 minutes walk. We are surrounded by open countryside, with wonderful walking right from our the doorstep and this is also a great area for cycling . There are lots of great village pubs, walks and pretty villages in close proximity such as Welford on Avon, Temple Grafton, Shottery, Exhall, Broom, Bidford On Avon, Wilmcote, Aston Cantlow, Bearley, Wootten Wawen, Henley in Arden & Ilmington. You are welcome to park in the bay directly opposite the cottage which is shared with one other cottage with plentiful further parking in the area at the end of the terrace just beyond Pleasant View Cottage. Please bring your own supply of wood and kindling if you wish to use our wood burner, unfortunately some of our previous guests helped themselves to our complete supply.
