Second floor. Sleeps 1 person. Shared spaces include the kitchen/dining area, bathrooms/toilets, laundry room, the front yard/veranda and the outdoor area at the back. THE KITCHEN / DINING AREA: We understand that food is an essential part of every trip, so we have provided a fully equipped kitchen that is always ready if you wish to cook up a storm. There is a fridge, microwave, stove top, oven, kettle, toaster, pots, pans, crockery and a medium-sized dining table in the kitchen/dining area perfect for any eating needs. Most of our guests don't cook however because of our location - there are just so many restaurants for a decent price, not even a minute's walk from where we are! Therefore, we don't put on breakfast. The dining area is the perfect area of the house to go to when you have tasty food to devour. Whether you decide to cook up a storm in our kitchen or order takeaway, there is no better place to eat than the dining room. The dining room has a medium table which can accommodate up to 4 people at a time. THE BATHROOMS: There are 2 modern communal bathrooms for you, our guests to use. One is located on the first floor next to the laundry room, and the other is on the second floor. Each bathroom comes fully equipped with a shower, essential amenities, basin, drawer, mirror-cabinet, ventilation and a toilet. The upstairs bathroom also contains a bathtub, if you prefer bathing instead! THE LAUNDRY ROOM: Accidentally spilt some coffee on your shirt? Or got clothes that need cleaning? Don’t worry! Our laundry room has a large basin, iron, ironing board, cleaning essentials, washing machine and a machine dryer for all your basic cleaning needs. There is also a clothesline in the back yard for you to dry your clothes. THE FRONT YARD / VERANDA: The front yard/veranda is the place to go when you need to have a cigarette or just to grab some fresh air. Decorated with trees and ground lamps, this brings home a relaxing atmosphere. THE OUTDOOR HANGOUT AREA / BACKYARD: This is the part of the guest house where guests may go outdoors to eat/drink, get some fresh air, have a cigarette or just to relax and have some banter. The outdoor area has a concrete floor, 3 wooden chairs, a small wooden table which can accommodate up to 3 people at a time and a clothesline for all your drying needs. Bathroom – Clean up after yourself and leave the area dry and clean for the next guest. 3. Fridge – Do not take food that is not yours, label your own food and remove after checkout. 4. Quiet Hours – No loud noise or conversations past 10PM – 8AM. 5. Rubbish – Throw rubbish away in the bin outside the house. 6. A violation of the house rules by the guest will be treated as a violation of house rules. • For safety reasons, the hallways, stairways and fire escapes of the building may not be obstructed or used for any other purpose than entry and exit from apartments. • DO NOT leave bicycles, garbage bags or any debris in the walkways at any time. • Guests need to pay the cost caused by triggering the alarm system with excessive smoke. • Guests are required to provide access to their room in order for repairs to be done. Guests will be given as much advance warning as possible when repairs are scheduled. • The shared common area is to be kept free of rubbish, dirty dishes, bags, debris, etc. • Please turn off lights and check kitchen appliances are turned off when leaving the room. • For safety, please check that windows and doors are locked when you are leaving the property and don’t leave fire safety doors ajar. • Please use the laundry detergent provided as it is for this model of machine. Please turn off iron after use. • If anything is broken or malfunctions, please notify the us as soon as practicable.
