Quaint English Cottage just 1hr from London

Old Brook Cottage is a 300yr old English Country Cottage in a peaceful rural location surrounded by farmland. Great access to local footpaths including the famous Essex Way. Just a 15min drive to Epping tube station (Central Line) then 40mins to central London! A stay at Old Brook Cottage is like going back in time - sloping floors, low ceilings, doorways that might require a duck/limbo and loads of character! Think the cottage from ‘The Holiday’ - only Jude Law probably won’t be dropping in! Upstairs there is are 2 double rooms, a twin room and a single. Note that the single room is accessed via one of the doubles and does not have a door between (ideal for a child). The bathroom is on the ground floor and includes a shower over a small bath. There is a combined kitchen and dining space. The living room has loads of period features and a cosy open fireplace. IMPORTANT NOTE: The house has low ceilings and a steep staircase. Taller guests will have to duck in the shower! Old Brook Cottage has its own access via a bridle path entrance (that you can drive down) and then over a small bridge. There is fibre optic WiFi at the property.
