Beautiful, spacious home boasts expansive water views from nearly every room. Enjoy the ever-changing tides, nature & birdsongs. Watch the sunrise or moonrise, & stargaze in an open expanse of sky, far from city lights. The home is a sprawling two-level with three bedrooms on the ground level & living spaces upstairs. Light & bright throughout, there are many windows and skylights. Spanish-style interior finishes, vaulted ceilings, wide hallways & open concept add to the spacious feel. Relax on the spacious deck amid the tall trees & peaceful surroundings where you're likely to spot bald eagles, a pod of seals, deer & more. Large gourmet kitchen with huge island is well-stocked for preparing meals for your group. Formal dining room with water view & seating for 6. Game room has a pool table & TV with streaming, cable & DVD player. (Bring your own DVDs) Huge master suite with comfortable King bed has walls of windows & walks out to a waterfront deck. Wake up to the magnificent water view! Private en-suite bathroom has a deep jetted tub with room for 2, and a spacious shower with multiple shower heads. There are two additional bedrooms downstairs. These two bedrooms share a bathroom with large shower & multiple showerheads. The 4th "bedroom" is a pull-out sofa in the game room upstairs. This room has a door for privacy & is down the hall from a half bathroom. Private office with large desk space & strong Wifi for those who plan to work during their stay. Expansive yards offer plenty of room for the kids to run around. Our beach is a great place to launch kayaks! We provide two adult kayaks & limited sizes of life jackets. You can rent additional kayaks (including child size) & paddleboards at North Shore Hood Canal Kayaks in Belfair. (Website hidden by Airbnb) (Appointment only, no walk-ins.) The entire home and property are available to guests with the exception of the detached garages and the gym, which are off limits. The hot tub is non-functional and is locked and off limits to guests. Please ONLY use the beach & dock directly in front of the home. Stay off neighboring property beaches. You may walk down the beach but not loiter or collect anything from neighboring beaches. We want you to enjoy the home as if it were your own! We do not normally get to meet our guests, but we are always available via phone, text or messaging to answer any questions. For urgent matters we can be available in person when needed. The house is located directly off a main road in a quiet area of Tahuya. There are multiple nearby access points to Hood Canal: 4 miles / 7 minutes from Menard’s landing (No Discover Pass required) Access point to Hood Canal. Major grocery chains Safeway & QFC, Starbucks, McDonald’s, Taco Bell, Subway. McClendon’s Hardware, White Barn Home & Garden shop. There is not much within walking distance of the home (besides the beach!) so a car will be necessary. No parties are allowed! The maximum number of guests in the home or outside at any time is 6. The number of guests in the reservation is the maximum number of guests allowed on the property at any time, not just overnight. No additional guests are allowed on the property without prior approval. There are exterior cameras monitoring the back dock area, and the front of the home & driveway to ensure compliance with guest count. The cameras do not infringe on guest privacy. Parking is available for up to 5 cars. There is NO street parking. We provide one roll of paper towels. Guests must provide additional rolls if needed. We recommend packing water shoes or sturdy sandals for going in the canal as we have a typical rocky Washington beach. Our beach fronts on salt water where the tides typically come in and go fully out twice per day. Guests must provide their own charcoal & lighter fluid for the waterside BBQ grill. Owners will provide a starter supply of firewood for the indoor fireplace. Kayaks: We provide 2 adult kayaks for guest use. We have limited sizes of life jackets available. Please bring your own if outside these sizes: (1) adult 2x, (1) adult Large, (2) adult universal, (1) child 50-90 lbs (1) child/toddler 30lbs (strap in between legs) A release of liability is required to be signed before kayaks may be used.
