A rustic Tuscan 13th century farmhouse and tower building housing a delightful 2 bedroom apartment with great views. The apartment on the second floor of the tower comprises of exposed wooden beams, terracotta floors (for keeping cool), comfortable living room with TV, bathroom, fully equipped tuscan kitchen and 2 bedrooms (1 master/1 double day bed). With access to communal gardens and shared infinity pool let the stress of busy city life melt away as you enjoy basking under the Tuscan sun. We love our apartment and our neighbors, so we please ask you to be respectful of them as well, so that everyone can have a relaxing holiday. The Tuscany area is famous for its food and wine, which you can choose to chef yourself if you so wish (having a large supermarket around the corner with fresh produce such as cheese/meats/vegetables). Perhaps take a short walk down to a few of the local restaurants, or take bus/car to the surrounding larger towns and explore the culinary delights of the area. Casa Barbara is a short 30 minute drive (recommended to hire a rental car) from Pisa airport with its own private parking space. Perfectly situated as a base of operations for trips to Florence/Siena or any of the surrounding Tuscany region. Also within easy reach of Pontedera train station which can allow access to Rome/Milan/Venice. There are also some of Italy's best beaches along the western coastline within a 40 minute drive. Or for those who prefer a chillier climate, a 2 hour drive to one of Italy's largest Ski resorts Abetone. Locally you can find little thermal pool town of Casciana Terme Lari, which features warm thermal outdoor pools, ideal for soaking in some relaxation.
